Trainee Project 2026 Competition

We are happy to announce the competition for the next national TRIC project!

To apply, please send a proposal to TRICNetwork@gmail.com between the following dates:

Wednesday, 1st of April
 to
Friday, 1st May 2026 (5pm)

Proposals should aim to evaluate practice related to  critical care. Winners will receive the support of the TRIC Network to  deliver the project nationally.

Please submit your proposals using the form below, ensuring you follow the guidance, also below.

Please email all submissions and questions to TRICNetwork@gmail.com

The TRIC Network committee will review all submissions and update candidates on the shortlist for finalists, we aim to acheive this prior to the 20th of May 2026.

If  you are selected as a finalist, you will be expected to attend  (self-funded) and give a short presentation on your project at the ICS SOA conference in Birmingham (29th June-2 July ‘26) where the winner will be chosen.

For this first time this year, all abstracts from finalists will be published with the other SOA abstracts by the ICS.

We're all really excited to hear what ideas you have!
